The Apple ProRes Option Key for PXW-X500 from Sony adds internal 10-bit Apple ProRes 422 and 422 HQ codec support on your PXW-X500 camcorder. Recording is available at 1920 x 1080 resolution at frame rates of 23.98p/25p and 59.94i/50i. The license comes loaded on an SxS card that is inserted into the camcorder for installation. Once installed, the card can be removed and you can enjoy 10-bit 4:2:2 ProRes recording on your PXW-X500.
